What is the rule of Super-8?
Two groups will be formed in Super-8. The teams of both the groups will have to play matches against the teams of their own group. While Team India will be in Group-1, Pakistan will be in Group-2. While Team India is X1 in Group-1, Pakistan is Y3 in Group-2.
While releasing the schedule of the tournament itself, ICC had given seeding to the top-8 teams, due to which the Super-8 matches were already decided but for that it was mandatory for these 8 teams to qualify for the Super-8.
