T20 World Cup 2026: India’s Super 8 opponents, dates and venues confirmed

India’s opponents in the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 have been confirmed. With Zimbabwe making it to the second round of the global tournament after their match against Ireland was called off due to rain, the dates for the Men in Blue games have been finalized.

The two-time champions will face Zimbabwe, West Indies and South Africa in the Super 8 stage. India will compete with South Africa on February 22 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The second match is against Zimbabwe at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on February 26.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led team will conclude their Super 8 campaign against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 1.

India advanced to the next round after registering a 61-run win over Pakistan on February 15. They are leading the points table in Group after securing three successive victories.

India will play their fourth and final Group A match against the Netherlands at the Narendra Modi Stadium on February 18.

India have played once against the Netherlands in T20Is, with the sub-continent team winning the game in the 2022 T20 World Cup.

India will aim for their fourth win after thumping the USA, Namibia, and Pakistan. The Netherlands have lost to the USA and Pakistan, and their only win came against Namibia.
