After Jitesh was left out of the team, his IPL team, RCB, shared a post in support of him, which is fast going viral. IPL 2025 champions RCB posted a picture which read, “All heart. Built to fight.” The caption read, “Brave. Courageous. Brilliant. Looking forward to Jitesh’s best performance in T20 format in IPL.”
Meanwhile, RCB bought Jitesh Sharma for IPL 2025 mega auction for Rs 11 crore. He played a key role in the team’s maiden IPL title this season. Jitesh scored 261 runs in 11 innings in 15 matches with a strike rate of 176.35. Due to his impressive performances in the middle order in IPL 2025, Jitesh was selected in India’s Asia Cup 2025 squad. He was then included in the squad for the tour of Australia and the home series against South Africa.
