Pakistan opening batter Sahibzada Farhan has surpassed India legend Virat Kohli on the list of most runs in a single edition of the T20 World Cup. Farhan is the leading scorer in a single T20 World Cup, breaking Kohli’s record of 319.
The right-handed batter has been unstoppable for Pakistan in the ongoing global tournament and crossed Virat’s mark in the sixth over of the innings, bowled by Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka. Kohli has posted 319 runs in the 2014 T20 World Cup, averaging 106.33 in six innings, with four fifties.
Meanwhile, Sahibzada has scored 383 runs in 7 matches at an average of 76.60 and a strike rate of 160.25, including 2 hundreds and 2 fifties.
