T20 World Cup: India defeated Pakistan, won the match by 61 runs, made place in Super-8
New Delhi: The 27th match of the ICC T20 World Cup was played between India and Pakistan on Sunday. In which Team India won by 61 runs. This match was played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Where Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. India had set a target of 176 runs for Pakistan. In response, Pakistan team was all out at 114. With this victory, Team India has also qualified for Super-8.

In response to India’s 176 runs, Pakistan’s pair of Sahibzada Farhan and Sam Ayub came. But Hardik kept Farhan away and did not even allow him to open an account. Hardik’s first over was maiden. After this Bumrah took charge. He came with the second over and took the wicket of Sam Ayub on the very second ball. Only 6 runs came from Sam’s bat. In the same over, Bumrah also took the wicket of Captain Salman. That means Pakistan’s score in two overs was 13-3. After this the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc. But after this Usman Khan and Shadab Khan took over the innings. A good partnership flourished between the two. After 10 overs, Pakistan’s score was 71-4. But Axar Patel broke the partnership of 39 runs between Usman and Shadab. Akshar took the wicket of Usman in the 11th over. Usman scored 44 runs in 34 balls. After this, Kuldeep took the wicket of Mohammad Nawaz in the 12th over. Only 4 runs came from Nawaz’s bat. Tilak Verma came with the 13th over and took the wicket of Shadab on the very first ball. Shadab scored 14 runs. After this, in the 16th over, Varun gave the 8th blow to Pakistan. Faheem was out after scoring 10 runs. Varun also took the wicket of Abrar on the very next ball. After this Hardik took the last wicket. Pakistan team collapsed at 114. Now India’s victory figure in the World Cup has become 8-1.

Team India, who came to bat first, had a very bad start. Salman Agha brought the first over. He took the wicket of Abhishek in the first over itself. Abhishek could not even open an account. But after this Ishan Kishan and Tilak Verma took charge. After 6 overs, India’s score was 52-1. Ishan Kishan scored fifty in only 27 balls. After this Ishaan dealt only in sixes and fours. But India got the second blow in the 9th over. When Ishan Kishan was out after scoring 77 runs on 40 balls. Sam Ayub took his wicket. Ishaan hit 10 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. After 10 overs, India’s score was 92-2.
After this there was a good partnership between captain Surya and Tilak Verma. But India got its third blow in the 15th over, when Tilak Verma was out after scoring 25 runs. After this, Sam Ayub took the wicket of Hardik on the very next ball. Hardik could not open account. After 15 overs, India’s score was 127-4 runs. India got its fifth blow in the 19th over when Usman Tariq took the wicket of captain Surya. 32 runs came from Surya’s bat.
Shivam Dubey was run out in the last over. 27 runs came from Dubey’s bat. But Rinku Singh scored 11 runs in 4 balls, on the basis of which India scored 175 runs against Pakistan after losing 7 wickets. For Pakistan, Usman Tariq took one wicket for 24 runs in 4 overs. Whereas, Sam Ayub took 3 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs. While Shaheen Afridi and Salman Agha got 1 wicket each.
