T20 World Cup: Tickets for semis, final set to be up for grabs – Know when and how to buy

New Delhi: The ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2026 semifinals and final tickets are set to be up for grabs for the fans. Post the culmination of the ongoing Super Eight stage, the knockout matches will begin with the first and second semifinal scheduled for March 4 and March 8 respectively and the summit clash set for March 8.

The first semifinal on next Wednesday remains to be a floating venue arrangement between Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium and Kolkata’s iconic Eden Gardens, depending on the results from the Super 8 matches. The second semifinal, meanwhile, is scheduled to be hosted at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

When and how to get the tickets?

Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) through a release late on Tuesday, notified that the tickets for the knockout games will be available on February 24, Tuesday from 7 PM onwards. The first release will offer an initial allocation of tickets across categories for each of three matches and all the tickets would be available to purchase at tickets.t20worldcup.com.

Meanwhile, if Pakistan qualify for the semifinals, they will play the first semifinal in Colombo on March 4 and if they do not qualify but Sri Lanka qualify and play anyone other than defending champions India, then the island nation play the first one in Colombo.

If neither of those apply, or if India are drawn against Sri Lanka, then the first semi-final will be played in Kolkata on the same date. If Pakistan reach the final, it will be played in Colombo, otherwise it will be played in Ahmedabad.

In case tickets are purchased for a venue that doesn’t end up hosting either semi-final 1 or the final, these will be refunded to the ticket-holder.
