T20WC 2026 IRE vs OMAN Playing 11: Lorcan Tucker-led Ireland will square off against Jatinder Singh-led Oman in the 22nd match of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on February 14 at Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo.
Both Ireland and Oman suffered two straight defeats in the only games they played in the T20 World Cup and secured 4th and 5th position in Group B of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 points table.
Oman won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, Jatinder Singh said, “Yeah, we’re gonna bowl first since it’s a new pitch, so we just wanna bowl first. Yeah, true. We just want to focus on small, small things.”

“What we have done, I mean, the last two games, the batting didn’t click, so we’re just focusing to bat in the right way. Just try to be in the present and try not to make mistakes,” said Jatinder Singh.
Meanwhile, Lorcan Tucker said, “Yeah, I think in these situations you really have to stay positive. We see this as a good opportunity to get ourselves back in and build some momentum heading into the last game against Zimbabwe.”
According to today’s Ireland Cricket Team players list, the selected playing 11 looks strong and competitive.
