Taaffe has ended its financial year on a strong note. The growth rate was 37.4% in March 2026, which was higher than the local growth of 29% in the month. Local sales were the highest ever by the company, with both the company’s brands Massey Ferguson and Eicher Tractors registering record sales. Taaffe’s exports also fared well, with 12,584 tractors sold in the international market underlining the company’s global presence and diversified growth strategy. To meet the demand of local market and export, Taffeta’s production plant is fully operational throughout the year. Capacity expansion is being evaluated by the company and appropriate steps will be taken by the company to meet future increasing demand and maintain its leadership in the global tractor industry.

Speaking on this progress, Tafeche, Vice Chairman, Dr. Lakshmi Venu said, “This year has been very positive for the tractor industry as well as the century in the country. Along with good weather, reduction in GST by the government has also given relief to the agricultural sector.

Currently, a good trend can be seen. Due to which the technology is seen to be spreading rapidly in the rural areas. A positive change was observed this year as the number of farmers using the system for the first time increased as the technology became available to small farmers. This not only increased agricultural productivity but also boosted the income of farmers across the country. Our mission at Taffey is to provide modern options to our customers in this sector as soon as possible and it is this mission that has enabled us to perform well in the market this year. “

While the current geopolitics and war-induced supply chain instability add to global uncertainty and inflationary pressures, and all this impacts on input costs, the Indian agriculture sector remains fundamentally resilient. Looking ahead, Taffey is optimistic about the medium-term outlook based on continued adoption of mechanization, demand for change, expansion of tractors and implements and gradual improvement in export markets. Tafela is confident of maintaining its growth momentum.
