The government is continuously taking steps to crack down on cyber criminals. A few days ago, telecom companies were instructed to run caller-tune to spread cyber crime among customers, in which the campaign will run for 3 months. Additionally, the government told Parliament that it has blocked 6.69 lakh SIM cards and 132000 IMEI numbers till November 15, 2024, in an effort to curb cyber crimes.
