Rahul Gandhi:-
Many people in India support PM Modi. Many people do not agree with his ideology and his vision of India. We think this vision will fail and has a lot of problems. This will create a lot of tension in India and make Indian people fight each other. We will fight it. This is a clash between 2 visions in India.

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘All the parties of INDIA alliance do not agree with the basic ideology of RSS. We are united on that question, but we have strategic contests and they will continue. We are united in Parliament and we will oppose BJP on laws with which we disagree. This is a much deeper fight than just elections. We are fighting for an alternative vision of India. BJP is proposing to eliminate equality between the Constitution and states, languages, religions.

Rahul Gandhi:-
There are millions of people in India who have a completely different view of the country from the Indian government and the RSS. It has been there throughout history. Will you be governed by the will of one person or by negotiation? Some people feel that India is so complex and diverse, speaks so many languages and has so many ideas that one person cannot decide its future. There should be dialogue between India and our states.

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Demonetisation systematically destroyed and decimated our MSMEs. This was an attack on their cash flow. There is room for big businesses in India. There are many other players at all different levels and governments should support them financially and technologically. When we were in power, manufacturing was about 17% of GDP, today it is 12%. Our manufacturing capacity has declined.

Rahul Gandhi:-
There is only one way to generate employment on a large scale in India and that is manufacturing. BJP has completely discouraged this when they have handed over power into the hands of Ambani and Adani, who instead of building companies, they just trade them. In fact, most of them are selling Chinese products in India. We will look at how to create MSMEs, create employment in agriculture and then focus on manufacturing. We will fix our GST, which today is completely anti-producer and pro-consumer.

What did BJP say?

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari termed Rahul’s statements as ‘fake news’. Presenting the data, he said that in the last 10 years, electronics production has increased by 495 percent and exports have increased by 760 percent. Automobile production has increased 14 times since 1991. From 20 lakh vehicles in 1991, it has now reached 2.8 crore.
