Congress Candidate List Tamil Nadu Election: In view of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Congress has released the list of its candidates. The party has fielded 27 candidates in this list. These included Durai Chandrasekar, A.M. Many prominent faces like Munirathinam, SK Arthanari, S Mangudi and VP Durai have been given tickets. It is noteworthy that in Tamil Nadu, Congress is contesting the elections in alliance with DMK. This time in the seat distribution, Congress’s share has been 28 seats, which is three more than the last election.
If we look at this list, it becomes clear that while Congress has expressed confidence in many veterans, efforts have also been made to work out some new equations. After this list came out, the political temperature in the state has suddenly increased.

The most prominent name in this list of Congress is that of Tamil Nadu Pradesh Congress Committee President K Selvaperunthagai. The party has made him its candidate from Sriperumbudur assembly seat. This seat is considered very important for Congress both emotionally and politically. Fielding Selvaperunthagai from here is being considered as a strategic move of the party, due to which new enthusiasm is being seen among the workers. With the State President himself contesting the elections, the Congress Party has given a clear indication that it is ready to enter the electoral contest in Tamil Nadu with full force this time.

Congress has shared this list of 27 candidates on social media. Names of 27 candidates are included in this list. In which the second big name is that of former MP Dr. A. Chella Kumar. The party has declared him as its candidate from Krishnagiri assembly seat.

When are the elections in Tamil Nadu?
Voting for the assembly elections will be held in Tamil Nadu on 23 April. Voting will be held in a single phase on all 234 seats in the state, where all major political parties have entered the fray to gain power. The tenure of the current assembly is till May 10, so the new government will be formed before that.
