Target Thanksgiving Meal Deal for 2024

If you’re on a tight budget and aren’t sure how you’ll be able to afford Thanksgiving dinner this year, Target might just be able to help. Like Walmart and Aldi, the retail giant puts together a full Thanksgiving meal deal each year at a discounted price. This year, Target has gone a step further and knocked a few dollars off the price for a dinner for four, making it even less than last year. You can get the turkey, stuffing and three additional sides for just $20—that’s $5 less than last year’s cost.

“When it comes to our goal of celebrating food and beverage, big events like Thanksgiving—and smaller moments throughout the holiday season—are where Target shines the brightest,” says Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for Target in a press release.

Since a Thanksgiving grocery tab can start adding up quickly, taking advantage of a deal on essential ingredients can help you protect your wallet from an expensive holiday season. You’ll probably need to tack on a few more items—especially to make family recipes you know and love—but you’ll definitely have a solid start with this cart. This year’s $20 Thanksgiving meal deal includes:

  • Frozen Good & Gather Premium Basted Young Turkey—up to 10 pounds
  • Good & Gather Russet Potatoes—5 pounds
  • Del Monte Cut Green Beans—14.5 ounces
  • Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup—10.5 ounces
  • Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce—14 ounces
  • Stove Top Turkey Stuffing Mix—6 ounces
  • Heinz Home Style Roasted Turkey Gravy—12 ounces

But that’s not all. Target has a plethora of additional sides, rolls and desserts for less than $5 each. Want fresh green beans instead of canned? How about yams and marshmallows or rolls and pie? Oh, and crispy fried onions to top your green bean casserole? They’ve got it all—and all for less than $5 each.

These prices will make it easier to include family favorites and traditional holiday dishes at this year’s meal—like Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Goat Cheese & Pomegranate, Slow-Cooker Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmallows and Parker House Rolls.

And let’s not forget dessert. This year, include the traditional pies—apple, pumpkin, pecan—and start a new tradition with something like our Cream Cheese Pumpkin Pie with Pecan Streusel, Chocolate Chess Pie or Buttermilk Cranberry Pie with Gingersnap Crust.

But the deals don’t end there. Did you know that Thanksgiving Eve is one of the most popular pizza days of the year? Target wanted to celebrate this, too. So from November 13 to 16, members of Target Circle 360—Target’s paid membership program—can select a frozen pizza and redeem it for free at checkout when using same-day delivery.

If you prefer homemade pizza—but don’t want to spend a ton of time making it on the day you’re starting preparations for the Thanksgiving meal—our Cast-Iron Skillet Pizza with Sausage & Kale comes together in a snap, thanks to store-bought pizza dough. Use your favorite toppings and save more time with pre-shredded cheese. Round it out with a store-bought bag of salad for a quick, easy and healthy Thanksgiving Eve meal.

With Thanksgiving Eve all squared away, you can focus on the big day ahead. Just remember to double-check that grocery list, invite over all your favorite folks and get ready for a delicious holiday.
