This ranking is based on 596,403 ratings submitted by the TasteAtlas audience, with 385,835 of them considered valid. While this might seem disheartening to Indian food lovers, it has sparked a lively debate online, with fans questioning how such a beloved dish could make this list.

How Does Missi Roti Compare Globally? At the very top of the “worst-rated” list is Blodpalt, a traditional Finnish dish from Lapland made from rye or barley flour and animal blood, often reindeer blood. Compared to Blodpalt, Missi Roti—made from whole wheat flour and besan—feels like a wholesome, flavourful option. Yet, cultural differences in taste preferences likely explain the contrast in perception.
