Masoor Dal Kebab

Material

  • 2 cups masoor dal
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 5-6 finely chopped green chillies
  • salt-as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • Half cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 cup oil

method of making

  • To make masoor dal kebabs, first soak the masoor dal in water for 5-6 hours.
  • Now put the soaked masoor dal in a blender and blend it.
  • Then take it out in a bowl. Now add ginger-garlic paste, finely chopped green chillies and green coriander leaves and mix.
  • After this add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala and coriander powder and mix.
  • Keep in mind that the dal mixture should be like dough, which will make it easy to make round tikkis.
  • Then, using your hands, make round kebabs from the mixture and keep them in a plate.
  • Now heat the pan on gas. Then add oil into it.
  • When the oil becomes hot, put all the kebabs in it one by one and fry them.
  • When the kebabs are fried from both sides, take them out in a plate.

Material

  • 2 cups masoor dal
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt-as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 6-7 finely chopped green chillies
  • half cup oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped green vegetables

method of making

  • To make Masoor Dal Cheela, soak the lentils for 6-7 hours.
  • Then prepare a paste by adding lentils and green chillies in a blender.
  • Now take out this paste in a bowl and keep it. Then add turmeric powder, salt, chaat masala and mix.
  • Then add finely chopped green vegetables to it.
  • Now heat a pan on gas. Then add oil into it.
  • Now if the lentil mixture is too thick then dilute it by adding a little water.
  • Then with the help of a ladle, pour the mixture on the pan and bake.
  • When the cheela is cooked, add grated cheese in the middle, fold the cheela and serve it with chutney.

  • half teaspoon turmeric powder

  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • 6-7 finely chopped green chillies
  • 1 cup oil

  • To make lentil pakodas, first soak the lentil in water for 5-6 hours.
  • Then take out the water and put it in a blender and blend it.
  • Now take out this paste in a bowl. Then add finely chopped onion and green chilli and mix.
  • After this add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and asafoetida and mix.
  • Now keep a pan on the gas to heat. Then add oil into it.
  • When the oil becomes hot, drop the dal mixture into the oil with the help of hands.
  • When the pakodas become crispy, take them out in a plate.
  • Delicious lentil pakodas are ready. Serve pakodas with hot tea.
