Tata, Nexon comes to increase the tension of Kia Syros; Will run 520 kilometers in a single charge, get lifetime battery warranty!

Kia India is all set to strengthen its electric portfolio in the Indian market. The company will soon launch its new electric car Kia Ciros, and some important details have surfaced online even before its launch. The car will be Kia’s smallest electric in India, slotting in the segment below the Kia Carens Clavis. Once launched, it will compete directly with the likes of Tata Nexon, Maruti E-Vitara, Toyota Ebella and Mahindra.

Battery pack and powerful range According to leaked online information, the Kia Syros will be available with two battery pack options,

42 kWh battery pack

Along with this, the car is claimed to offer a range of around 443 km. 51.4 kWh Battery Pack: With this large battery pack, the car can run as much as 520 kilometers on a single charge. Interestingly, the Hyundai Creta and Kia Carens Clavis also use the same size battery pack. However, since the Ciros is smaller in size and lighter in weight, it is expected to offer more driving range than the Creta despite having the same battery capacity.

LIFETIME BATTERY WARRANTY!

The biggest feature of this car is going to be its ownership package. According to sources, the company may offer a 15-year or outright lifetime battery warranty on the car, which will be the best coverage plan for any car available in India. Apart from this, the car will get a standard warranty of 3 years, which can be extended up to 7 years or 1.6 lakh kilometers.

Exterior, Interior and Features The Kia Ciros will look similar to its petrol/diesel version. This car will come with a boxy shape and good height. The front fender on the passenger side will feature a charging flap and will feature a unique design bumper and alloy wheels. Coming to the interior, its dashboard will be similar to the petrol version, but it may get a -specific display, new trim and upholstery. It is also likely to have vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging capabilities.

Probable Price The ex-showroom price of this new Kia Citroën in the Indian market is highly likely to be between Rs.15 lakh and Rs.20 lakh.
