New Tata Punch EV coming on 20th February, know what will be special, what features will be available

Affordable Electric SUV with ADAS: Amidst the increasing demand for electric vehicles in India, Tata Motors is going to launch its entry-level electric SUV Tata Punch EV Facelift on 20 February 2026. Punch EV is already known for its safety and features, but now the company is preparing to present it with a more premium look and advanced technology. The new Punch EV can arrive with many important changes in terms of design, interior, safety and comfort.

You will get a more clean and powerful look in the design

Subtle but effective changes will be seen in the exterior of the facelift model. The closed grille and split LED headlight setup at the front will remain the same, but the black strip connecting the headlights can be removed, which will make the SUV look cleaner and modern.

The slim DRLs and minimalist design language will be retained. Also, a new scuff plate can be added to the front bumper, which will give a stronger appeal to the vehicle. The side profile is likely to remain almost the same, but there may be changes in the design of the 16-inch alloy wheels.

The interior will be more luxurious, full of technology

The cabin of the new Punch EV may be more premium than before. The seating comfort is expected to be improved with slight changes in the dashboard layout, new upholstery and better thigh support. It can be given modern features like 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, two-spoke illuminated steering wheel and rotary dial gear shift. Apart from this, entry of voice-enabled electric sunroof is also possible, which can prove to be a big attraction in this segment.

Big upgrade in safety: Entry of ADAS features

There is talk of inclusion of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in the Punch EV facelift. Features like blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking and front collision warning can be found in it.

If these features are included, Punch EV could become the most advanced electric SUV in its class. Battery options are likely to remain 25 kWh and 35 kWh, but software optimization may improve the range.
