The spy photos of the car clearly show that the Tata Sierra EV has an independent rear suspension setup. SUVs in this segment usually have a simple beam axle to keep costs down. However, independent rear suspension greatly improves the ride quality of the vehicle. Also, it reduces bumps on rough roads and provides more stability during cornering, making long-distance drives more comfortable.

The Tata Sierra EV is expected to have the same 65kW and 75kW battery packs as the Harrier EV. It can be offered in both two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. However, to give more range, the power output of the Sierra EV may be slightly lower than that of the Harrier EV.
Price and launch time
The starting price of Tata Sierra EV is expected to start from 18 lakhs. Although it will be more expensive than the ICE version, it will be cheaper than the Harrier EV. Talking about the launch, it is believed that it can be launched in the next 12 to 18 months.
