Tata Wants You in a Curvv.EV This Month: Rs. 3.45 Lakh Off On Curvv, And Many Other Cars

Tata Motors has put its most aggressive April 2026 discount on the Curvv EV, offering up to Rs 3.45 lakh in combined benefits on most variants. That is the largest EV discount in the market this month from any mainstream manufacturer, and it is structured as a Green Bonus of Rs 3 lakh plus a Rs 30,000 exchange bonus and a Rs 15,000 corporate benefit. The only variant excluded is the Creative 45, which is the top-of-the-line 45 kWh pack version.

The Curvv EV starts at Rs 17.49 lakh ex-showroom for the Creative 45 entry variant and goes up to Rs 22.24 lakh for the top variant. The Rs 3 lakh Green Bonus applies across the middle and upper variants of the 45 kWh and 55 kWh packs. At the top combined benefit of Rs 3.45 lakh, the discount works out to nearly 19.7 percent of the base Curvv EV’s entry price.

Even if you measure it against the top-end variant, it still comes to around 15.5 percent. Those are very large percentages for a current-generation EV rather than a discontinued model. That is why the Curvv EV stands out this month. Tata is not just nudging fence-sitters with a token scheme. It is meaningfully narrowing the price gap between the electric Curvv and well-equipped petrol or diesel alternatives.

Tata is not giving the Harrier EV a broad Green Bonus this month. Instead, the support is highly targeted. The biggest benefit is a Rs 1 lakh loyalty bonus for existing Tata EV owners, along with an exchange benefit structure that takes the total potential gain to around Rs 1.5 lakh depending on buyer profile. That makes the Harrier EV’s offer less attractive for a first-time EV buyer than the Curvv EV’s, but much more relevant for somebody already inside the Tata electric ecosystem. In other words, Tata is using the Harrier EV more as an upgrade path than as a mass-discount product.

The Punch EV outgoing long-range variants come with a Rs 1.1 lakh Green Bonus and Rs 30,000 exchange for a combined Rs 1.55 lakh total. These are the older battery pack variants being replaced by updated stock, so heavy discounting here is expected. The Nexon EV, by contrast, sees a modest Rs 20,000 Green Bonus and Rs 30,000 exchange, totalling Rs 65,000, a sign that it continues to sell steadily without requiring deep promotional support. The Tiago EV Long Range XZ+ gets Rs 1 lakh Green Bonus and Rs 20,000 exchange for up to Rs 1.35 lakh.

Seen together, Tata’s April strategy is very clear. The Curvv EV’s Rs 3.45 lakh headline is Rs 1.9 lakh higher than the Punch EV’s best package, Rs 2.1 lakh higher than the Tiago EV Long Range offer, and Rs 2.8 lakh above the Nexon EV’s total benefit. The Curvv EV is therefore not just getting the largest discount in Tata’s own line-up. It is getting a completely different level of support. That usually means the company wants to rapidly widen the installed base of that specific nameplate, either to accelerate visibility in the market or to move a larger chunk of current inventory.

The Curvv petrol carries a Rs 30,000 consumer discount and Rs 20,000 exchange for a total of Rs 57,500 including the Tata Group employee benefit, making it the best deal among ICE Tata models this month.

The Harrier and Safari petrol and diesel variants are offered with Rs 10,000 consumer discount and Rs 25,000 exchange for a combined Rs 47,000. The Nexon petrol and CNG gets Rs 10,000 off plus Rs 15,000 exchange for Rs 32,500 total.

That comparison matters because it shows how aggressively Tata is prioritising EV movement over ICE movement this month. The Curvv EV’s Rs 3.45 lakh package is roughly six times the size of the Curvv ICE deal. Even the Punch EV and Tiago EV receive much stronger support than similarly positioned petrol models.

Tata Group employees, doctors, MSME owners, and teachers can access focused group schemes over and above these numbers on select models. All exchange bonuses require surrender of an old vehicle and cannot be combined with the scrappage bonus. Offers are valid for April 2026 bookings and deliveries completed within the month.
