Information came to light that the video of Salera Vidyalaya, a government school located in Gangrar Subdivision Area of Chittorgarh, had come on social media. In this, Acting Principal Arvind Vyas and a female teacher, who were caught on camera doing obscene acts in the principal's room during school hours, were dismissed from government service. District Education Officer (Primary) Rajendra Sharma, after discussing with the higher officials after the report of the high level committee formed to investigate the matter, issued an order dismissing both of them from government service.
It is written in the order that both the accused appeared before the investigation committee on Monday. In this he was asked for clarification regarding the incident. Accused Vyas did not give any explanation, while the female teacher admitted her presence in the video. But the events of the video were said to be edited. District Education Officer Sharma said that after examining the video, it was found to be absolutely correct. Only after this, a case of spreading obscenity in a public place has been registered by the department against both of them at Gangrar Police Station.
It is noteworthy that accused teacher Arvind Vyas is the State President of Joint Employees Federation and is very close to the ruling BJP and its leaders. Due to leadership, the school where this incident took place has been the acting principal for the last fourteen years and no one has been allowed to be appointed to the original post.
