Team India announced for Kho-Kho World Cup, these players got place

Fixed World Cup 2025: Kho-Kho Federation of India (KKFI) and International Kho-Kho Federation (IKKF) have announced the Indian men's team and women's teams for the upcoming Kho-Kho World Cup 2025. The Kho-Kho World Cup will be held from January 13 to 19 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. 20 men's teams and 19 women's teams are participating in the first edition of this event. 23 countries are coming to India to participate in this tournament.

Pratik Vaikar became the captain of men's team

The men's team will be captained by Prateek Vaykar. He made his debut for India in 2016. He started playing Kho-Kho at the age of eight. He has captained Telugu Warriors in the Kho-Kho League. Apart from this, under his captaincy Maharashtra won gold in the 56th Senior National Championship.

 

At the same time, Priyanka Ingle has got the captaincy of the women's team. Having participated in 23 national competitions in 15 years, she has been a core part of the team. Her achievements include ILA Award (Best Sub-Junior Player), Rani Lakshmi Bai Award (2022 Senior National) and gold medal at the 4th Asian Kho-Kho Championship 2022-23

The KKFI Selection Committee, led by Chairman Sudhanshu Mittal and General Secretary MS Tyagi, played a key role in selecting the final 15 for the men's and women's teams. The training camp included 60 male and 60 female players from the coaching staff.
