If Gautam Gambhir accepts this offer then he will have to resign from the post of head coach of Team India.

According to a Hindi newspaper report, the new management of Rajasthan Royals wants to make Gautam Gambhir as its partner, mentor and CEO. One of the three new owners of the franchise has made this offer to Gambhir. Received CEO post offer from Rajasthan Royals: According to a report in Hindi newspaper, most of the shareholders of Rajasthan Royals are selling their stake to the new owner. The deal is in the transfer stage. According to the report, one of the 3 new owners of the franchise has contacted Gautam Gambhir. He has been offered a 2-3 percent stake in the franchise as well as being made the CEO and mentor.
Gambhir Gautam cannot join RR while being the coach of Team India.
As long as Gambhir is the head coach of Team India, he cannot accept this offer from Rajasthan Royals even if he wants to. The reason is that doing so would be a direct conflict of interest. Obviously, if Gautam Gambhir accepts this offer from Rajasthan Royals, then first he will have to resign from the post of coach of Team India. However, in the news report quoting sources related to Gautam Gambhir, it has been said that he is committed to the post of coach of Team India. The sources refused to comment on the offer from Rajasthan Royals.

Gautam Gambhir’s tenure as head coach of Team India is till the 2027 ODI World Cup. During his tenure, Team India’s performance in Tests has been below average. However, there has been no decline in the team’s performance in white ball cricket. Due to poor performance in Tests, there has often been a demand for a new coach for red ball cricket.
