Now Team India has also made the international debut of 15 year old young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi. This young batsman batted brilliantly against Zimbabwe in only his second T20 series. In the third and last T20 match against Zimbabwe, Vaibhav played an innings of 81 runs with the help of 8 fours and 4 sixes in 49 balls and played an important role in India winning the series 3-0, for which Vaibhav was both Player of the Match and Player of the Series.

Team India made a big record in the T20 series against Zimbabwe and equaled its own 2 year old record. The Indian team has batted brilliantly in one calendar year i.e. this year 2026 and has scored more than 200 in T20 International matches a total of 9 times. With this figure the team has equaled the best performance in its history. This year Team India can also break its record. Now Shreyas Iyer is handling the responsibility of captaining Team India in T20I.

India did this feat in the year 2024

Earlier in the year 2024, Team India had achieved the feat of scoring 200 or more in T20 International matches a total of 9 times. This was a big milestone in Indian T20 history. This year, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India won the T20 World Cup 2024 title and proved the team’s batting strength across the world with its batting.

The Indian team started this series in the year 2023.
