Then in the last quarter the Indian players were able to aim well and register victory by scoring two goals. The first goal was scored by Navneet Kaur in the 48th minute, who opened India’s account by converting the penalty stroke into a goal. (Photo: PTI)
Just 8 minutes later, the Indian team doubled its lead and closed the doors of comeback for Japan. This time in the 56th minute, star forward Lalremsiami scored the second goal on an excellent pass from Sunelita Toppo. (Photo: PTI)
