Team India Schedule Ahead ODI World Cup 2027: The Indian cricket team has started its preparations before the ODI World Cup 2027. Everyone’s eyes are now fixed on the performance of Team India. This World Cup is considered very important especially for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Both the veteran players are currently playing only ODI cricket, so every match will be a big opportunity for them to prove their form.

After the new schedule released by BCCI, it has become clear that Team India will play about 20 ODI matches before the World Cup 2027. Although some more matches may be added in the future, but as per the currently fixed schedule, the team will have enough opportunities to prepare itself. After the end of IPL, the Indian team will return to international cricket and play series continuously.

ODI series will start from Afghanistan

Team India will start its ODI campaign with a series against Afghanistan. This series will be played in India, where first a test match will be played and after that three ODI matches will be played. The ODI series will start from June 14 and will continue till June 20. This will be the first international series of the Indian team after IPL, which will give the players a chance to gain momentum.

Balance of foreign tours and home series

After the Afghanistan series, Team India will tour England, where three ODI matches will be played. Apart from this, there will be a three-match ODI series in India against West Indies. On the New Zealand tour, the Indian team will play a long series of five ODI matches, which is considered very important from the point of view of preparation. Three ODI matches each against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will also be held in India.
