India beats Pakistan by 7 runs in Emerging Asia Cup
The match was played between India-A and Pakistan Shaheens in the fourth match of the ACC Emerging Asia Cup tournament which started on Saturday in Oman. Under the captaincy of Tilak Verma, Team India's A Brigade overpowered Pakistan and defeated Pakistan Shaheens by 7 runs in a close contest. In this match, India A, playing first, scored 183 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan Shaheens i.e. Pakistan A team could score only 176 runs for 7 wickets.

In this match, India A captain Tilak Verma won the toss and decided to bat first. After which Abhishek Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh made a fast start for India A and added 68 runs in the first 6 overs. Abhishek Sharma scored 35 runs in 22 balls and Prabhasimran scored 38 runs in 19 balls. After this, captain Tilak Verma played an inning of 44 runs in 35 balls, taking India-A to the score of 183 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Pakistan Shaheen's team could score 176 runs for 7 wickets
Pakistan Shaheen's team got the target of 184 runs, where their captain Mohammad Haris could not do anything special. After losing 2 wickets for 21 runs, Yasir Khan (33 runs from 22 balls) and Qasim Akram (27 runs from 21 balls) made a good partnership and brought Pakistan into the match. After this, Arafat Minhas also played an inning of 41 runs in 29 balls. But Pakistan continued to suffer setbacks at frequent intervals. In the end, Abdul Samad scored 25 runs in 15 balls and Abbas Afridi tried to win by scoring 18 runs in 9 balls but Pakistan Shaheen's team could only score 176 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Anshul Kamboj took 3 wickets for India A and the team won by 7 runs.
