Team India will not go to Pakistan, ICC announced hybrid model, what was the reward in return?

ICC announced on Thursday 19 December that for this tournament to be held in February-March next year, the Indian team's matches will be played at a neutral venue instead of Pakistan. In return, ICC has also rewarded Pakistan with a new tournament, which will be played in 2028.
Schedule will be released soon
ICC informed that the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025 will be announced soon. However, it has not been revealed yet in which country and at which venue the Indian team will play its Champions Trophy matches. ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will start from 19th February. But due to uncertainty over the venues, the schedule of the tournament has not been released yet. It is noteworthy that eight teams will participate in this tournament, they have been divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals.
Matches will be held at neutral venue
The ICC Board confirmed on Thursday 19 December that India and Pakistan matches at ICC events hosted by any country during the 2024-2027 cycle will be played at a neutral venue. This rule will now apply to the upcoming ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 (hosted by Pakistan), which will be played in February and March 2025, as well as the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 (hosted by India) and the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 ( Hosted by India and Sri Lanka) will also apply. It was also announced that the PCB has been given the rights to host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in 2028, where the neutral venue arrangement will also be implemented.
