Robin Uthappa Arrest warrant: Team India's former wicketkeeper batsman Robin Uthappa seems to be in trouble. Allegations of alleged fraud in EPFO ​​have been made against him and an arrest warrant has been issued in this case. Earlier, a warrant was issued against him in early December, but he was not at his home due to which the warrant was returned.

According to reports, Robin Uthappa is accused of deducting Rs 23 lakh from employees' salaries while managing Century Lifestyle Brands Pvt Ltd, but failing to deposit the employees' provident fund contributions. It is being told that the warrant was issued to Robin Uthappa by PF Regional Commissioner Shadakshari Gopal Reddy, who has asked the Pulakeshinagar police jurisdiction in Karnataka to take necessary action.

In this case, officials said, “The warrant issued on December 4 has been returned as Uthappa was not found at the Pulakeshinagar residence.” The warrant states that due to non-payment of dues, the office has not been able to settle the PF accounts of the affected employees. The office directed the police to arrest Robin Uthappa and return the warrant by December 27.

Former India wicketkeeper-batsman Robin Uthappa and his family reportedly live in Dubai. Let us tell you that Uthappa has represented India in 59 international matches. He has also been a part of Team India that won the T20 World Cup in 2007. Apart from this, Uthappa has played for many teams in IPL including KKR and Chennai Super Kings.
