Team India’s tension increased! Star bowler injured, danger of being out of England tour looms

Gurnoor Brar Injury Concern: Team India won by 6 wickets in the first ODI against England. The England tour has been nothing special for Team India so far. Team India suffered a 4-0 defeat in the T20I series, while some important players also got injured on the tour. Varun Chakraborty and Harshit Rana got injured in the T20I series. For this reason, Prince Yadav was entered in the ODI squad in place of Rana. Now Gurnoor Brar’s injury might have increased the tension of Team India.

Gurnoor Brar got injured in the first ODI

Gurnoor Brar bowled brilliantly in the first ODI match against England. He took 2 wickets for 61 runs in 9 overs. Captain Shubman Gill handed the ball to Brar in the 48th over of the innings. However, he had a problem with his leg while running and immediately pointed towards the dressing room. The Indian team physio came and checked Gurnoor.

For a few minutes the physio tried to ease Gurnoor’s pain by stretching his calf and hamstring. The Indian fast bowler was then taken out of the field. In his place, Akshar Patel bowled the 48th over. The Indian team has not yet given any update regarding Brar’s injury.

Team India’s tension increased!

Gurnoor Brar’s injury is not good news for Team India. Many prominent Indian players have been injured in the last few weeks. Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Hardik Pandya could not be a part of the ODI series against England due to injuries. Now Gurnoor’s injury might also be increasing the tension of Team India, because this Punjab bowler has continuously impressed since his debut. It seems that Brar’s injury will be investigated. After this it will be known whether he will be able to play the next two matches or will be out of the series.
