Jairam Mahato could not drink mother's milk
Jairam Mahato's life has been full of struggles. His struggle had started from his mother's womb itself. Jairam Mahato told that his two younger brothers and sisters died in childhood. Mother was mentally broken. Father passed away when Jayaram was still in mother's womb. Within three months of father's death, grandfather also died. Uncle was blind. Jairam Mahato told that after the death of his younger brother and sister, due to superstition in the family, his grandmother never allowed him to drink mother's milk. As soon as he was born, his grandmother brought him and he grew up drinking powdered milk and buffalo milk. He grew up in his maternal grandparents' house.
Will Jairam become rich after becoming MLA?
Jairam Mahato saved him. He learned to fight as soon as he was born. He is the youngest and poorest MLA of Jharkhand Assembly. He told that even in the coming days he will not have more than Rs 4-5 lakh in his bank account. Jairam Mahato also revealed that he had an offer even to become Deputy CM but he rejected the offer saying that he was contesting assembly elections for the first time and he would fight alone. However, he did not disclose who had made the offer. Explaining the reason for BJP's defeat, Jairam Mahato said that BJP touched wrong issues due to which it had to face defeat. Especially on the question of Bangladeshi infiltration, he said that raising the issue of Santal in Kolhan was a loss.
