Technical fault in Lucknow-Kolkata Indigo flight, passengers stuck in the plane for 1 hour

K News Desktop-There was a stir at Amausi Airport located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, when a technical fault occurred in an IndiGo flight going to Kolkata just before take-off. For security reasons, the plane was stopped on the runway before it could take off, due to which the passengers remained trapped inside the plane for about an hour.

According to the information received, both the Deputy Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh—Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak—were also on board this flight. As soon as information about the technical glitch was received, the airline and airport administration immediately became active. Giving priority to safety, the aircraft was stopped and the engineering team was called to the spot and investigation was started.

It is being told that Indigo flight number 6E-505 was about to leave from Lucknow for Kolkata. As soon as the technical problem was reported, the plane was stopped before takeoff. After this, the team of engineers examined the aircraft closely and started the process of eliminating the technical fault. During this time the passengers had to wait inside the plane for some time.

After about an hour of inspection and repair, the engineering team declared the aircraft safe. The flight was allowed to take off only after all the necessary technical tests were completed. After this, the plane took off from Lucknow for Kolkata at around 7.40 am on March 9.

Although the passengers faced inconvenience due to the technical glitch, the airline took utmost care keeping the safety standards in mind. The airport administration and IndiGo officials clarified that the safety of passengers is the top priority and hence the aircraft was allowed to take off only after all necessary checks were completed.

After the incident, the officials and airline staff present at the airport kept an eye on the situation. After the technical problem was resolved and all safety standards were confirmed, the flight was dispatched to its scheduled destination.
