Technical glitch in Common University Entrance Examination, delay in commencement of examination at many centers

New Delhi, The National Testing Agency has today informed that major technical glitches occurred at some of the examination centers during the Common University Undergraduate Entrance Examination 2026. This caused delay in starting the examination. According to the agency, the company handling the responsibility of organizing the examination said that due to a technical problem at their level, the examination could not start on time at some centers on May 30, 2026. Now the problem has been resolved and all the affected students are being given full extra time so that injustice is not done to any candidate.

Revised timing of afternoon session

The agency has changed the timing for the afternoon session. Now the candidates are instructed as follows:

Reporting and entry will start at 2:30 pm. The exam will start at 4 pm.

Students appearing for the exam in the morning shift have been given the liberty to complete the exam for the entire scheduled time. They will be able to leave the center only after the examination is over. The National Examination Agency has expressed regret at the inconvenience caused to the students and their parents. The agency said that it will fully protect the interests of all students.

Students are advised to check the official website from time to time for latest information. A helpline number has also been issued from where help can be taken.

This incident happened on the first day of the examination due to which thousands of students across the country had to face inconvenience. The agency says that the examination is going on smoothly at all the centers and it will not have any impact on the future of any student.
