Tee Higgins all set to return for Bengals!
The Bengals have missed Tee Higgins lately. He has not played in 2 of the last 3 games.
He first sat out in Week 13. That was because of a concussion. He then suffered another one in Week 14. This kept him out again last week against the Ravens.
This week brought better news. Higgins returned to practice. He had 2 limited sessions early on. He then finished the week with a full practice. The team listed him as questionable for Week 16.
Now the update fans were waiting for is here. Tee Higgins is expected to play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport confirmed it on Saturday. He said Higgins is likely to suit up. He also noted that Higgins was a full participant in Friday’s practice.
Before returning, Higgins had to clear concussion protocol. That meant passing checks from an independent neurologist. The Bengals went even further. They sent him to a second doctor as well. He was fully cleared. Fans can still check the official inactive list before kickoff. The Bengals will release it about 90 minutes before the 1 p.m. ET start time.
From a fantasy football point of view, Higgins is a strong option. He is ranked WR15 in fantasy points per game this season. That puts him firmly in weekly starter territory. Miami has done well against wide receivers this year. They allow the 7th fewest fantasy points to the position. Still, this matchup is not something to fear.
Higgins is simply too talented to sit. If he is active, he should be in lineups.
The call is clear. Start Tee Higgins with confidence this week.
