Tega Industries Q4 Results: Profit drops 58% YoY to Rs 42.5 crore, revenue down 1.7%
Tega Industries reported a weak performance for the fourth quarter, with net profit declining sharply by 58.3% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹42.5 crore compared to ₹102 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s revenue from operations also witnessed a marginal decline of 1.7% YoY, coming in at ₹527 crore against ₹536 crore reported in the year-ago period.
Operating performance remained under pressure during the quarter. EBITDA fell 60% YoY to ₹60 crore from ₹150 crore in the same quarter last year. The significant decline in operating earnings impacted profitability, with EBITDA margin narrowing to 11.4% compared to 28% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
