Tej Pratap Yadav asked for security, accused of death threat
Tezzbuzz Desk- Bihar’s Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD) chief and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav has demanded security from the government, citing threat to his life. In this regard, he has lodged a complaint with the police and has also written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister cum Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary informing him about the entire matter.
Tej Pratap Yadav alleges that the national spokesperson Santosh Renu Yadav, who was expelled from his party, is continuously threatening to kill him. He said that objectionable language is also being used against him on social media platforms, which has posed a serious threat to his safety.
Talking to the media, Tej Pratap Yadav said that he has lodged a written complaint in this matter in the concerned police station. Also, he has written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary demanding to provide security. He says that threats should not be taken lightly and the administration should take timely action.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has confirmed receiving the letter from Tej Pratap Yadav. Speaking to the media on Saturday, he said,
“Yes, I have received their letter. The matter is being investigated and further decisions will be taken based on the investigation.”
Tej Pratap Yadav has also mentioned in his complaint that after being expelled from the party, Santosh Renu Yadav is abusing him through social media and is continuously threatening to kill him. He said that such activities are not only illegal but also against the democratic system.
Meanwhile, Tej Pratap Yadav has also reacted to the allegation by JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar about the alleged basement in Rabri residence. He completely rejected the allegations and said that there was nothing like that in the residence.
Tej Pratap said that if anyone has any doubt then an investigation should be conducted by government agencies, so that the truth can be revealed to everyone.
Tej Pratap Yadav’s statement has also come to light on the matter of Lalu family vacating the government residence located at 10 Circular Road. He said that this entire matter is motivated by political hatred and facts are being distorted.
