Bihar’s NDA government made a world record of bridge collapse in 21 years, there needs to be a bigger direct proof of corruption than this: Tejashwi Yadav

Patna. Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, posted a video on Monday and wrote that the NDA government of Bihar has created a world record for bridge collapse in 21 years. There needs to be some direct evidence of corruption even bigger than this. And now, courtesy of the corrupt NDA government, Vikramshila Bridge in Bhagalpur has taken Samadhi in Ganges River. There needs to be a bigger direct evidence of corruption than this.

Last month we had warned the government that this bridge could collapse, but as usual the government shied away by defending its corrupt system. When the bridge collapsed, many vehicles were on the bridge but blessed by God, they were not on the falling slab, hence there was no loss of life or property. Tejashwi Yadav wrote that more than 100 bridges and culverts have collapsed in Bihar in the last two years, that is why Bihar is on top in corruption.

Let us tell you that a major accident took place on Sunday night on the Vikramshila bridge built on the Ganga river in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Late on Sunday night at around 1:10 am, a pillar of the bridge collapsed and the slab resting on it completely got submerged in the river Ganga. There was chaos on the spot due to the collapse of the bridge late in the night, however, it is fortunate that the police and the administration showed promptness and stopped the traffic in time, due to which no vehicle got hit by the slab falling and major loss was averted.

Taking cognizance of the bridges collapsing under the supervision of the sitting judge, the Supreme Court should order an investigation by CBI ED.

Samajwadi Party leader IP Singh, while reposting the video of Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav, wrote that the Honorable Supreme Court should take cognizance of the bridges falling under the supervision of the sitting judge and order an investigation by CBI ED. After all, what is the reason that most bridges are falling in Bihar and Gujarat? Corruption and scam have broken the back of Bihar.
