Maharashtra elections taught a lesson to Congress, CM Revanth Reddy should learn – Harish Rawat

Harish Rawat On CM Revanth Reddy: BRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao, while reacting to the Maharashtra election results, has once again launched a verbal attack on Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. T Harish Rawat said that A Revanth Reddy has a PhD in lying. Congress has not fulfilled the election promises and guarantees made in Telangana and Karnataka but has cheated the people. Similarly, Congress along with other leaders was trying to deceive the people of Maharashtra, but the people of Maharashtra have taught Congress the right lesson.

Further T Harish Rao said that the people of Maharashtra have understood how the Congress leader has betrayed the people of Telangana. The assembly results in Maharashtra should open the eyes of the Telangana government and fulfill the promises made in the elections.

Reddy should fulfill his promises- Rawat

The time has come to implement whatever election promises the Reddy government had made to the people at the time of elections. In July, the Reddy government had issued a gazette notification saying that it would establish a Pharma City in Kodangal in the state, but the CM changed his stance and now instead of the Pharma City, it has been declared an industrial area.

'Telangana government should open its eyes'

Rawat has once again raised the demand that the Reddy government should cancel the notification for making the industrial corridor in Kodangal with immediate effect and only Pharma City should be developed there as promised. Not only this, on Kaleshwaram project, Reddy government claimed that Kaleshwaram project has been rejected and preparations are going on to divert the water of Kondapochamma and Malannasagar towards Hyderabad.

Congress's shameful defeat in Maharashtra

At the same time, the question arises whether there is any truth in the claims he has presented about demolishing the Kaleshwar project or not. Let us tell you that the performance of Congress and its alliance in Maharashtra was quite disappointing. On one hand, Mahayuti, the alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP, got a huge majority and won 232 seats. Whereas Mahavikas Aghadi, the alliance party of Congress, Shiv Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar) won only 49 seats out of 288 seats.
