Tendulkar will lead India in International Masters League

MUMBAI Mumbai: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will lead the Indian team in the upcoming International Masters League, which will be held in the country from February 22 to March 16. Other teams participating in the tournament are Sri Lanka, Australia, England, South Africa and West Indies .Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar is the commissioner of the league.D.Y. Patil Stadium, Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot and Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur will host the International Masters League matches.

West Indies will be captained by legendary batsman Brian Lara, Sri Lanka will be captained by the legendary Kumar Sangakkara, all-time great all-rounder Jacques Kallis will captain South Africa, while former stars Eoin Morgan and Shane Watson will captain Australia and England respectively. League Commissioner Gavaskar expressed his delight, saying: “The International Masters League promises to showcase cricket in its full glory as it brings together some of the finest players to have graced the game.”
