Tennis: Sharapova and Bryan brothers inducted into International Tennis Hall of Fame

Russia's Maria Sharapova, one of the most glamorous tennis players and winner of five Grand Slam titles, and men's doubles brothers Bob and Mike Bryan have been inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame. The Bryan brothers have won a record 16 Grand Slams as a pair.

The 2025 Home of Fame was announced in Newport, Rhode Island. Sharapova has won each of the four major Grand Slams during her career and is one of 10 women in tennis history to complete a career Grand Slam. She was also the first Russian female athlete to reach the top spot. In 2020, he said goodbye to professional tennis at the age of 32. Sharapova, who was in the news for 15 years due to her glamor, also had to face a 15-month doping ban and underwent several surgeries on her left shoulder.
