Damoh/Read. Horrific road accident in Damoh: A horrific road accident took place in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. There was a strong collision between an auto and a truck. Then the auto came under the truck. 7 people have died in this accident. Four people were injured, who have been admitted to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The accident took place on Katni Road. As soon as the information was received, administrative officials including Collector (DM) and SP also reached the spot.
A police officer present at the spot said that all the injured passengers have been admitted to the hospital. The truck driver was also injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment at the hospital. It is not yet confirmed whether the truck driver was drunk or not. The injured have not been identified as they are not in a position to speak at the moment.
According to police officials, they will go to the hospital after investigating the accident. Further action will be taken only after that. Also, the families of the injured will be informed by phone. It will also be ascertained where they were coming from. Police is investigating the matter further.
