Tesla Model Y: Tesla launches new long wheelbase variant of Model Y in India, know price and features

Tesla Model Y: Electric car manufacturer Tesla has launched a new long wheelbase (LWB) variant of its popular SUV Model Y in the Indian market. This new model has been introduced with more space, better performance and longer range as compared to the existing variants.

New model comes with 6-seater configuration
The new Tesla Model Y long wheelbase variant has been launched exclusively in 6-seater layout. It has a setup of two seats each in both the second and third rows. This provides passengers with a more comfortable and premium seating experience. This variant has been specially designed keeping in mind family and long travel.

Strong battery and great range
This new variant has a larger battery of 84.2 kWh. The company claims that this SUV can give a range of up to 661 kilometers on a single charge. Talking about performance, the electric motor installed in it generates 340 horsepower and 450 Newton meter torque. This car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.44 seconds, which makes it very sporty.

How much is the price?
Tesla has kept the ex-showroom price of this new long wheelbase variant in India at Rs 61.99 lakh. In this price segment, this electric SUV emerges as a strong option in the premium EV market.
