Here Trump said there will be ceasefire, whereas Thailand rained bombs on Cambodia! 20 died and 5 lakh people became homeless
Thailand Cambodia Conflict: Cambodia has made serious allegations against Thailand just hours after US President Donald Trump announced the ceasefire. Cambodia says that despite the ceasefire being agreed, Thailand continued air strikes on its territory. After these allegations, tension seems to be increasing once again in this sensitive border area of South-East Asia.
Cambodia’s Defense Ministry said in a statement released on social media platform X that the Thai army launched new attacks on its territory on Saturday. According to the statement, on December 13, 2025, the Thai military, using two F-16 fighter planes, dropped seven bombs on multiple locations within Cambodia. The ministry also alleged that despite the ceasefire announcement, the bombings by Thai military aircraft have not stopped.
No response from Thailand
At present, no official statement has come from the Thai authorities on these allegations of Cambodia. However, due to the already ongoing allegations and counter-allegations between the two countries, the situation has become more sensitive.
Trump had announced ceasefire
These new allegations from Cambodia have come at a time when US President Donald Trump had announced a day earlier that the leaders of Thailand and Cambodia had agreed to end hostilities and re-implement the ceasefire. The agreement came after several days of deadly clashes that threatened to break the ceasefire already in place.
Donald Trump had told through a social media post that he had separate talks with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet. He also said that Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim played an important role in making this agreement possible.
The first ceasefire took place in July
It is noteworthy that the first ceasefire between the two countries took place in July, which was decided with the mediation of Malaysia. The agreement came under pressure from Trump, who warned that trade privileges could be withdrawn if rules were not followed.

The agreement was formalized in more detail at a regional meeting in Malaysia in October, which Trump also attended. According to Bloomberg news agency report, Thailand has claimed that 10 of its soldiers were killed and dozens were injured in the recent violence. At the same time, Cambodia said that 10 civilians, including a child, have died and at least 60 people have been injured. However, Cambodia has not made public military casualty figures.
