Thailand’s Phuket named cheapest destination to fly to from Singapore

Phuket Island in Thailand has emerged as the cheapest travel flight destination, with an average return flight price to and from Singapore of S$236 (US$186), according to travel site Skyscanner.

Manila in the Philippines ranked second, followed by Bali in Indonesia and Vietnam’s Phu Quoc.

Kuching in Malaysia rounded out the top five.

The Singapore-based site called Phuket “a quick tropical escape.”

“Phuket delivers pristine beaches, lively nights and world-class resorts, perfect for unwinding, diving or hunting down the island’s best street-side Pad Thai,” it wrote.

The report is based on economy return flights booked on Skyscanner between Jan. 1, 2025 and Oct. 31, 2025 for travel between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2026.

Skyscanner’s analysis also found that on average, the cheapest day to fly in 2026 is a Sunday.

The cheapest flight destinations for Singapore travelers in 2026, according to Skyscanner:
