Jaipur, 1 November (Hindustan Reporter). Govardhan Puja will be organized in every house along with temples on Saturday morning in the capital Jaipur. On Saturday morning, women will make the figure of Lord Shri Govardhan Maharaj from cow dung in their homes and after that, they will do parikrama with the family after collectively worshiping them. Women will sing many auspicious songs including Aavo Govardhan Ji Maharaj…, Pooju Pagliya Matha Aaj…, Puran Karjo Saro Kaj…, Jug Jug Jiye Parivar…, Pooja Govardhan Veer…. After the puja, women will also seek blessings for the happiness, prosperity and peace of their family.

Annakoot festival will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in the temples of the city. In all the major temples of Jaipur and other temples, Prasad will be distributed by making Annakoot made from millet, moong, chaula etc. and offering it to Thakurji.
