Thalapathy Vijay faced a big disappointment as soon as he took over as CM. The flight testing and integration hub of India’s ambitious and highly advanced medium strike fighter aircraft AMCA has been transformed. This hub will no longer be built in Tamil Nadu. This defense aerospace project will now be built in Andhra Pradesh. Although some experts are raising questions regarding this decision of the Central Government, the government says that it was already decided that this project has to be built in Andhra Pradesh only. The recent loss of this project is being considered as a setback for the newly appointed Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy Vijay. Let us tell you that in the recently held elections, TVK had emerged as the largest party by winning 108 seats in the 234-member Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. After this, Vijay formed the government with Congress and many regional parties.

AMCA testing project awarded to Andhra Pradesh

The flight testing and integration hub of AMCA, the fifth generation stealth fighter aircraft, has been shifted from Tamil Nadu to Andhra Pradesh. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone of this Rs 15,000 crore AMCA Defense Hub in Putta Parthi. DRDO has not given any official reason as to why it was shifted from Tamil Nadu to Andhra Pradesh.

Tamil Nadu government was talking for three years

For the last three years, the Tamil Nadu government was in talks with DRDO to set up this project in Hosur, although DRDO had not given any consent to it even at that time. As per the proposal made by the Government of Tamil Nadu, the AMCA flight test and integration complex was to be built along the proposed Hosur Airport, with the test facility on one side and the passenger terminal on the other.

AMCA fighter plane is fantastic

AMCA is India’s most ambitious fifth generation combat aircraft project. Its biggest feature is ‘Stealth Technology’. Due to stealth technology AMCA aircraft cannot be detected by enemy radar. These aircraft have better weapon systems, speed and supersonic flight. Apart from stealth, it also has supercruise and digital technology. This will be a fifth generation fighter aircraft with single seat and double engine.
