A video of him during an election rally organized in Puducherry on Saturday is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video, Vijay was seen greeting his supporters, but during this time something happened which caught everyone’s attention. Vijay got angry for pushing the old man

Actually, during the rally there was a huge crowd and people were standing on the roadside welcoming Vijay. Then an elderly man was also standing in the crowd and greeting them by waving his hand. Meanwhile, a member of the security team pushed the old man to make way for the car. Vijay himself saw this scene. As soon as he saw this incident, he became angry at his security. Despite the vehicle moving forward, he reprimanded his security and expressed displeasure at their behavior. His reaction was captured on camera and it went viral within no time.

After the video surfaced, there was a flood of reactions from fans on social media. Many people praised Vijay for the way he showed affection for the elderly. While commenting, users wrote that he knows how to respect his people. Some praised his strong leadership. At the same time, many people said that this is the reason why people like him so much.

It is noteworthy that Thalapathy Vijay had announced his political party ‘Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam’ (TVK) in 2024. Along with this, he had made it clear that now he will stay away from films and focus completely on politics. His film Jana Nayagan is being considered as his last project. At present, he is continuously holding rallies and is trying to strengthen his hold among the public.

It is being told that the crowd pressure in this rally was very high. Due to humidity and heat, a woman’s health suddenly deteriorated and she became unconscious. The people present on the spot immediately took him to the hospital. Such incidents once again bring to the fore the challenge of crowd management at major political events.

This is not the first time that Vijay’s rally has come into limelight. Earlier in 2025, there was a stampede during a rally in Karur, in which many people lost their lives and dozens were injured. Even after that incident, many questions were raised regarding security arrangements and crowd control. Although, this time the matter was not that serious, but the incident with the elderly man has once again sparked discussion on the security system.
