Big news has come out from Tamil Nadu about actor Vijay. His wife Sangeeta has filed a divorce petition in Chengalpattu Family Court. Sangeeta has alleged in her petition that Vijay has an alleged affair with an actress and on this basis she has demanded termination of the marriage. As soon as this news came out, there was a stir among the fans. However, no official statement has been issued by Vijay yet in this matter.
Married in 1999, have two children
Vijay and Sangeeta were married in August 1999. The couple has two children—Jason Sanjay and Divya Shasha. For a long time, both of them have been seen as a strong and happy family of the film industry.

Petition filed under Special Marriage Act
According to the information received, this divorce petition has been filed under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. Under this law, divorce can be sought on the basis of allegations like adultery or cruelty, provided the allegations are proved. At present the matter is in the court and all eyes are on the further hearing.
