The aim of the G Ram G Bill is not to retreat from social security but to strengthen it in a new form: PM Modi

New Delhi. Amid strong opposition from the opposition regarding the Vikas Bharat Ji Ram Ji Bill, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the aim of this bill is not to step back from social security but to strengthen it afresh. He said the bill aims to increase employment guarantee, incorporate local planning, strike a balance between worker safety and farming productivity and transform rural livelihoods.

PM Modi said this in a post while sharing an article by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan about this bill on social media on Saturday. The Prime Minister said that Singh has highlighted the objectives of the Bill in the article. He has appealed to the people to read this article. In this must-read article, he said, “In this must-read article, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan explains how the Vikas Bharat Ji Ram Ji Bill aims to transform rural livelihoods by enhancing employment guarantees, including local schemes, striking a balance between worker protections and farm productivity, merging schemes, strengthening frontline capacity and modernizing governance. It is noteworthy that the opposition is attacking the government regarding this bill. The opposition says that this bill is a conspiracy to snatch employment from the poor, Dalits and tribals. Congress has termed it as murder of MNREGA scheme.
