The BJP government has betrayed Hindus by not banning cow slaughter and beef export: Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati
Lucknow. Saint Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotirmath of Uttarakhand was in Lucknow on Monday. He held a press conference at Indira Gandhi Foundation and alleged that BJP took the votes of the majority Hindu community of the country and cheated them. Despite being in power for three consecutive terms, BJP did nothing to stop cow slaughter and for cow-respect, so he had to leave the monastery.

He is on a tour of India with his supporters by making this issue a campaign. He said that he started this pious work from Ram's city Ayodhya and today he is in Laxman's city Lucknow. He will go to all the states of the country with this movement and will not sit quiet until cow slaughter is stopped in the country.
He called upon the 100 crore Hindus of the country to join him in this pious campaign. He alleged that in the name of prasadam in Tirupati temple, crores of Hindu devotees were fed cow fat. There should be a revolution in the country over this grave sin. He said that despite a saint of a monastery being the Chief Minister in Uttar Pradesh, out of 79 slaughterhouses in the country, 40 are in UP. This is unfortunate.
