A sensational incident has come to light in Gokulpuri area of North-East Delhi. Here a young woman has been arrested for attacking her lover’s bride-to-be with acid. The family members of the girl injured in this incident immediately admitted the victim to GTB Hospital for treatment.

North-East District Police Deputy Commissioner Ashish Mishra said that after receiving information on Tuesday afternoon, a team of Gokulpuri police station reached the spot located in Indira Vihar area, where it was found that the victim had already been taken to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital by her family members. Investigation has revealed that the marriage of the victim (21) was fixed with a person and they were going to get married in the month of April. But the boy’s girlfriend Bahar was unhappy with this marriage due to which she committed this serious crime.
According to the information, the victim is undergoing treatment at GTB Hospital and her condition is being closely monitored. Police said a case has been registered and investigation is underway to ascertain further information leading to the attack.

However, the accused woman has claimed to be in a love affair with the same man and she is opposing this marriage. Deputy Commissioner of Police said that due to jealousy and anger, the accused attacked the victim with acid. He said that the accused woman has been identified and caught.

Along with this, crime and forensic team was called to the spot, which inspected the spot and collected many important clues and scientific evidence. During investigation it was revealed that the matter was of love affair. The accused girl already had a love affair with the boy to whom the victim was married. She did not like her lover marrying another girl. To ruin the life of the victim, she went to her house and threw acid on her.
