Anantapur: Another student committed suicide due to non-payment of fees. It is being told that due to continuous pressure from the college, the student became so upset that he left the class room and committed suicide by jumping from the third floor. According to local media, the deceased's father was an activist and he was arranging the college fees.

On January 23, Charan, a 16-year-old student of Narayana College in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, died after jumping from the third floor of the college building. This incident, which happened in broad daylight, was captured on CCTV and was widely shared on social media. Despite efforts to immediately take him to medical care, Charan was declared dead.

The 16-year-old student from Somaladoddi in Anantapur district had returned from vacation. Anantapur rural sub-divisional police officer T Vektesulu said the boy had returned to college from Sankranthi holidays on Thursday morning and committed suicide at 11:55 am.

According to the police, Sri Satyasai, an intermediate student, was a resident of Ramapuram village in Battenpally mandal of the district. The suicide of a boy studying Intermediate first year in Narayan Junior College was captured in CCTV camera. Police said that in the recording he is seen getting up from his bench and jumping straight from the third floor without any problem. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case after taking a complaint from the boy's parents and are investigating further.
